If you run dxdiag (Start | Run | 'dxdiag' ), does it report any problems? What version of DirectX?

i have same kind of problem everything tests O.K. but different story when i run the game... so i decided to sacrifice speed for stability and selected software, also selecting video options turn fog off and set vid display to high or med. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I can run the game in top quality with Direct3D, but if I press the Test button on the graphics selection screen, the test crashes. If I skip the test, it works fine.

This happens sometimes with radeon type cards.

Hi,

try to run the game in W2K compability mode.

I changed my system to WinXP (I used ME before) and the game did not start at all.
It passed the D3D test and the videos and then returned to desktop.
After changing to Win2000 compability everything works just fine.
