Hi all, new poster

Um I've managed to make Otho angry and so now I cannot heal Verlat, is there any way round this?
Can you make Otho not angry...?

I think it's coz I broke Ladivlak's skeleton...

Do you have a recent save before breaking the skeleton?

As long as you can talk to someone you should be able to boost their opinion of your character by giving them stuff (through the trade window). There is an exploit to duplicate stackable items which you can use to speed up the process, if you haven't collected a bunch of loot already (there are lots of high value axes in the catacombs, and other equipment, with probably more than enough miscellaneous low value items to build up a potion supply, etc). If you drop all your gold but 2 pieces, you can trade with Otho, get his opinion up for free and end up with 2 gold (or more, or zero, if you want to make a token payment).

[Edit]: unfortunately, although I always keep saves, there's about 6+ hours between me breaking the skeleton and attempting to give the gem so it's impractical to go back really.
I'll do the disposition trade thing and see.

I had pretty much roleplayed it in as Otho being a miserable git who'd cut off his nose to spite his face!!
