Zixzax is waiting by the portal to hall of heroes which is the only room open so far.
if Zixzax is standing right by the portal, then you haven't entered the portal yet. you can use all the star/blood stones, but the portal is opening one by one -- you enter one, and then proceed to the next. if you never enter the first one, the second one won't open.
