I had not entered her lair at the time I made that initial post teardrop. As far as my characters knew, Evelyn was simply a name that was involved with Thelyron and the undead. It just seems pretty buggy, because correct me if i'm wrong,
but isn't Zombie Jake the one that gives you the amulet in the Undertaker's Hut (besides the ones you can obtain killing Immaculates)? And if that's the case, he should know she isn't dead.
Evelyn didn't leave her backpack behind in the clinic Raze. I think that only triggers when you talk to the Thelyron and he tells you she left. I went and broke down her door though and got the things that I needed and just went and "did the deed". I was way overleveled for it though and it kind of broke the immersion quite a bit. Even after I did that, Esmerelda still just kept saying she couldn't believe
