Hi guys, I would like to ask what is recommended level for Phantom Forest? My characters are lvl 15/16. After I passed entrance (poisoned tree) I went upper left direction of map. Had a little bit harder fight with some type of Knight, some spiders and tree fighters. Eventually it was ok, but than I came across some group of ghost bandits (lvl 17) and they killed me very quickly.

the combat should be manageable when at a level lower the enemy. however, if you've done most main and side quests before you got to phantom forest, you should be at higher level than all the enemies you meet there.

since you're only lvl 15/16, I reckon you've left many quests unfinished; phantom forest is the last map leading to the finale.

OH is that so I actually thought that every active quest now finishes in phantom forest (aka Closing the rift, find the wizard, forge...)

check my last run, my party was at lvl 18 (half way to 19) when entering the phantom forest.

Closing the Rift finishes in the north area of Luculla map, not Phantom Forest. The entrance is a large stone arch and the entire area is a blazing inferno.
