I just started out on this game today as a mage. My mage is on level 2 right now and I don't know if it was a wise idea to start the game out as a mage. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I opened up the catacombs that the elf Larian has mentioned to me and I went down and used the the teleporting pyramid and got myself killed. So, will this pyramid be in the same place the whole time I use it? Or will I get transported to different places? Also, how well prepared should a mage be before heading down into the catacombs for the first time? As I've said I got myself killed the first time using the transporting pyramid. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> So, where do I go from here? Should I get some more weapons? Or should I fight the Orcs instead before heading into the catacombs? Any help would be great!
