Hi, I bought the game and played co-op with a friend about 2 hours yesterday. Today I saw a small patch on Steam and it mentioned a companion dlc which will NOT work without starting a new game.

So what I wanted to know, as I cannot find this info anywhere, is how long before this companion dlc lands? Is there any info about this?

Because if it is coming soon enough we may have to cancel our current playthrough and restart the campaign as we are only 2 hours in. No point in continuing the campaign without the dlc for a backtrack of just 2 hours.

Thanks in advance.

"Please note that the new companions will only be available after installing the free DLC (to be released later today) and can only be accessed when starting a new game."

From the patchnotes.

Huh? my patch notes don't have the vital text inside the parenthesis. :O

Thank you for the answer though!

EDIT: I pressed f5 to refresh the patch notes page and saw the text. I guess I saw the patch notes a bit too early before they got edited or something.

Generally, a notebook goes in your pocket, doesn't it? Give that notebook its own pocket. . . . in that pocket, put another notebook. . . .

From the in-game menu:

"The Bear and the Burglar

The Bear and the Burglar adds 2 new optional characters to your party: the rogue Wolgraff and the ranger Bairdotr. Uncover the mysteries of their pasts and determine their futures!"
