I am having the same problem where you have to select the answers for both main characters even though you have AI Personality set for both characters. I have also noticed that you must select answers for both main characters when speaking to your NPC controlled companions. I hope they fix this issue soon. I do not like playing the game where I have to select the answer for both main characters. I just played the game yesterday to see if this issue have been fixed but unfortunately the problem still remains. They just released a patch today but it does not seem like this issue was fixed. I am waiting for this issue to be fixed before I play the game again.
