Swen mentioned this in the latest round of updates, and I think it's a great idea. E.g. my GF is not a hardcore gamer, and has an old laptop she can't run DOS on, but I think if I could hook up my laptop to a big screen that would work well!

I would also like to suggest support for dual mice, should be simpler to adapt the UI for and have a faster turnaround.

If you meant this kind of big screen, I'd agree with you. If it's only one screen and no split screen, it would be hard to navigate if you wanted to go south and your girlfriend wanted to go north.

Well I think they could dynamically go from single screen to split screen; it might get a bit confusing when someone at the border flips back and forth but they could reduce the 'flickering' by change the point of view when single screen vs split screen.

Also the game should be more amendable for the steam controller than an xbox controller; though it might be possible with an xbox controller. Hum. It would be a fun project to explore the interface and behavior but at the end of the day i'm not sure how well it would really work (after all I can't stand an xbox controller when compared to keyboard/mouse so my view might be bias).

That's not a problem, we always go where she says laugh

For small separations perhaps there ought to be a dynamic zoom, with hysteresis thresholding behavior for the transition to split screen.
