Press the 'k' button to open your skills. Select the bottom tab on the left, labeled 'Special.' There should be a skill there called 'Summon Pet.'
It looks like you have the spider pet summoned already in your screenshots, and it looks like it was bungled and also became a fleshy spider like mine.
