I'm all for this too.
Up until first "act" and you move on to Silverglen the game difficulty scale perfect on Hard. However, whilst in the second area it gets progressivly easier as I move through the questline. Which sadly removes alot of the gameplay value for me.
I havent tried the new DLC (naturally) just yet, maybe there is some changes there?
