It's great that you didn't have a problem, but maybe consider it from other angles also.

What's stopping the player digging up the grave at, say level 2, before they have had a chance to recruit any companions. Can a party of two lvl2s take on a single Lvl.8 zombie? After playing the game for, let's say, 2 hours with no prior undead fighting experience? What of the dog who joins the fight and dies? Etc.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or intentional. It *feels* like a bug though, if only when compared to something like the exploding grave - you get plenty of warning to step away from that incident. I guess I feel like a sudden encounter with a Lvl8 tricky enemy might benefit from *some* sort of signal, even if it's only just something written on the related gravestone, "Died in his underpants at level 8. May well have been something he ate." At least the player can look back and think "ohhh, okay." instead of just going "what? that's bullshit!"

I don't know though, I haven't gone back and looked at the area since the change. Maybe there's an autosave trigger? Maybe there's something else.
