Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues DLC (The Bear and The Burglar) not activatable?

So... if I have already downloaded the DLC and it is showing as selected, does that mean the new characters will show up now? Or do I need to start over yet again? (I've been assuming I can meet the new companions at the King Crab. If that's not the case, then maybe I just haven't discovered them yet...?)
