Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Stupid question - can't pick up armor

OK, I just started playing this game. I have some sandles and a dirk. I have found some cracked armor, but when I click on it I don't pick it up. Everything else has been picked up with a single click. What am I missing?

If you open your inventory window, I think you can drag and drop it.

or just drag and drop it to the 'menu'-bar on the bottom of the screen, then it'll go to the inventory as well, no need to open the Inv window <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Some armour is scenary. It is so badly damaged that you can't even wear it to cover your privates. If you can't pick it up, you probably don't need it. Some letters and books are an exception to the rule, in which case you drag them into your inventory as Viper said.
