Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Joining someone's game crashes their server

So, my friend and I wanted to play after all the updates. We had a savegame from right before we beat the game.

We both turned all mods off, whenever I tried to join him, it crashed his server.

I then tried to join other random people on the internet, It crashed their servers as well.

Please investigate this issue.

I am running windows 8.1

I have the latest version of Divinity with no mods enabled.

I can play just fine in single player.
