Tips:

> When you post a question, please make sure to put the question in the topic too.
For example if your post is about some person in the council of seven, put something like "Elven Member in Council of Seven" in subject. That way the person who'll answer will see the question before even reading the post itself.

On the SEARCH page you can use different options like,
'search options' give the choice to search by 1-entire phrase, 2-and, 3-or, 4-by display name. The search engine is the best that I have seen.

Not only it's the best but it's also the fastest.
Still putting the real topic in the subjects make the search even faster. Sometimes you can see the answer straight away!

Well I've beaten Corny-one a while ago. But when I killed the previous 4 members in 4 hits without being hit once, Corny blinded me and used hell-spikes. I had to drink a minor potion and stab him.

What's also important is the Date Range - better mark "Newer than 6 months" This way, you'll get as much as possible information for what you are looking for.

I get this no matter what I enter for criteria:
"There are no results for your query. Please try a broader range of search criteria."

I entered "gareth" to test search system. Didn't find it even though it is in a thread title on the first page. Why am I not getting any results?

The search defaults to posts within the last week; in the Date Range section you can increase that to any date range up to 3 years (often just hitting the 'Newer than' dropdown list and changing from 'Week(s)' to 'Year(s)' is good enough).
