Is there a way to disable that annoying "Windows Key" while in game?

Yes, it is possible to disable the Windows key. The last time I looked for any such programs was quite awhile ago (r/e: hitting the windows button instead of alt key). You can also do this with a registry edit, or remapping keys (using AutoHotKey, for example).

Try WKey Disabler or winkill.
