Larian usually just issues a patch to strip all DRM after the game is out a good year.
What kind of problems are you having with DRM?
Is the DRM preventing you from playing the game or are you in fear of it spying on your computer activities?
Swen (the owner) isn't a fan of DRM and wants to ensure DRM is not an issue for any legitimate customers to play the game. Also, these forums have many players here that want you to get into the game. Please explain your DRM issues so we can help you.
He's referring to the non-Steam discs. Even though the game doesn't have DRM on it, he (and some others) threw a fit about Steam being a requirement for the disc, so there's supposed to be a second run of the discs without Steam.
