I would be extremely surprised if they don't release another big patch before the end of the year, and if so, it would almost certainly be before the holidays to rake in some of those Christmas sales. I'd imagine some people are waiting for the harder difficulty before buying the game, and plenty of people wait a while after a game is released to buy it to take advantage of patches. Getting a big content patch in before the holidays would be a smart marketing move. I'm imagining a patch in late November.
