Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Game does not get past loading screen

Anyone else have this problem? I start the game, watch the intro movie, then when it gets to the loading screen (with the sword on the bottom ) it gets about halfway and my screen blacks out and I go back to windows. I can not figure this out. I have tried just about every combination of direct 3d, direct draw, software and resolution. This is my computer

Pentium III 550
Radeon ATI 64 MB SDR
7Gb avail on hard drive

I can't think of what else to add about my computer. So if you have any ideas please post here

Have you installed the latest hotfix? There is an install verification method described in [i]Troubleshooting and Manual Install Procedure[/i] which can help identify missing or corrupt files. You could also try uninstalling, re-booting, shutting down all non-essential programs and re-installing.

i installed the patch and i still cant get some of my saved games to load.

Mine does the same thing except it just stops and freezes up! whats up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
