My characters slip on ice outside of battle in Hiberheim. Unless i have the boots or gear to prevent it.
If its your leader only then he or she does not have the boots.
Its really simple. Have boots, run over ice. Have not boots - fall hurt your head, ugh.
Me speak to you in caveman language.
Fire, poison-acid and mines can all kill a character. And they use to do it in a tenth of a second or faster during beta, while if you would resurrect you would do so in the place where you died and so died again, as fast. Which ended up changed into what it is today.
Ice cannot kill nor it ever did in the game.
You just fall on your ass because you refuse to wear proper winter gear in polar environment.
Thats not a bug. Its a feature.
That you are creating yourself.
Also... try not running over the ice in combat, but walking instead. Step by step.
