I did my due diligence on Google but was unclear and also much of the information on DOS is from BETA and has changed upon release which adds confusion.

When you respec does it refund all Attribute, Skill and Talent points acquired, and spent, to that point and make them available to respend as desired? (including character creation)

Or is it that he will only permit the reallocation of unspent points? For example if I have saved up 4 Talent points they can be reallocated into 40 Skill points and those Skill points can be allocated at a 5 to 1 ratio into Ability points?

My Google searching has been unclear and I don't want to reach Moloch and find I'm empty on Talent points.

You can respec or do individual trades with the talent/ability/attribute points. I have not checked the respec option in a recent build, but it should be noted that the character will unlearn all their skills, including those from unique or limited availability skill books.

Thank you for your reply Raze! smile

I leveled up to Moloch and discovered I also lose all my spells when I do a full respec and that getting those spells back again is a real pain in the behind... so I started a new game with this information and with a complete new build. This time around I'm just saving my Talent points for trading rather than a full respec.

I actually tried to leave my thanks in a more timely manner but I have great difficulty with signing onto this site as it seems to lose my login immediately after I actually do login... strange.
