My first terrain suddenly returned to it's original flat state after I created a second terrain and saved the module. Anyone know what's going on? All the placeables are still there but the mountains, inclines and declines are missing.

Same thing just happened to me. Wow...

So I've tested this... seems to be a bug. Adding a second terrain and then saving works fine, when you re-open the module though, both terrains are instantly flat. Objects are in their normal positions (hello floating trees and houses).

So far this seems unrecoverable... I guess it's safest to make your initial terrain way bigger than it needs to be just to be sure you don't need more space.

Is this still a problem for people? I think this happened to me as well. I think that in the future I'm going to make all my props, houses and areas on a flat terrain and then move stuff around later in case this happens again.

So far this issue hasn't reoccurred for me, even though I've added at least 4 more terrains to my original terrain. Nevertheless I'm paranoid that it will happen again so I keep copies of the Mod folders in the "data" and "editor" folders in my Divinity - Original Sin folder. That's how I recovered my original terrain after it went flat.

If someone has a fix, please let us know.
