Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Taking too much DOT damage

I had a character that was poisoned. The tooltip says 2-7 poison damage per turn. She first took 3 (ok), then saved vs poison, then after the poison was removed, she got hit for 18 damage. I'm playing on hard, if that matters.

I tried again, then saw 4, 3, 9, 9, 5, 25, 19. If this is the poison effect stacking somehow (I'm removing and putting back something on a poison cloud trap, so I could be getting hit multiple times), it'd be nice to see some indication in the tooltip. If it's not stacking, it'd still be nice to see the actual range, unless the high numbers are supposed to represent some sort of critical fail or the like.

A little more info on this... I was taking 2-5 from stepping in ooze. I stepped out of the ooze. I cast minor heal on my character, which heals for 41 per turn. The poison DOT started doing 41 damage per turn until it wore off.
