Is there going to be any content dlc in the future?

I was about to buy the game on steam, but when i was playing my super free demo version, i was crashing left and right in the second area map, it was a forest, i was trying to get my hands on dat witch.

so im a little worried it might not work, but it is possible that i messed something up using cheat engine, no one else seemed to have that problem that i talked to.

how much of the game is left after you leave the first part and go into the forest? I heard the game was really long (i breezed through the first part just to test play)

also, loved the ego draconis. why isn't there more of that? and is dragon commander any good?

No. They have no plans for content DLC, they're moving on to their next RPG. There will still be patches and additional stuff, but no major new content.

There are updates planned for the game (including harder difficulty modes, and new skills, like dual wielding).

There was a crash issue around Silverglen fixed shortly after release, etc, depending on what version you 'demoed'.

The Cyseal map is about a quarter to third of the game. Playtime is about 80 to 100+ hours (depends on difficulty and playstyle, etc).

I liked Dragon Commander, FWIW, not generally playing RTS games (since I suck at them, usually; with Dragon Commander I worked my way up to playing on normal difficulty, but then, for lack of time, didn't play enough to get very good at that level). I actually bought a couple more RTS games since then, that I wouldn't have even looked at before, though they are still sitting in my backlog.

What a shame, I was hoping for a beefy expansion frown

Well, new skills and diff mode sounds really good.

Just hope they improve the editor, I just love to create levels and enemy encounters.

The editor is extremely usable, I'm working on a few projects myself.

It doesn't need to be in any better shape than it is now to turn out some quality content.

I would expect "big" content releases next spring / summer. These things take time to make.

thanks for the input fellas,

anyone want to chime in on how much of the game is left after the first area map?

(i played this game a few months back, and really liked it, i just sort of been busy and it looks like its 20% off on steam right now, so i just bought it)
