I just want to see a GotY edition. You know, with all the DLC included...
CPU: i7-4930k, Gfx: EVGA 950, RAM: 16GB DDR3-2133 (quad channel), OS: Arch Linux

I would just like to say me and my brother played through the whole game on co-op with only one ctd and this is the best game we ever played. We are about to play through again with other characters. The only thing I hate is that it ruined me for other games lol.

Yay! Gratz Larian! Been rooting for D:OS. Hope it wins overall GotY so we can bug the devs for a Goty edition with all kinds of extra content!
I pledged and all I got was this lousy awesome game!

How in the hell is Dragon Age: Inquisition winning although it is a terrible console port? Besides the fact that the game is a huge dumbed down turd, of course.

Besides the fact that the game is a huge dumbed down turd, of course. 1) Because console gamers can vote as well there for PC and they also do so a lot. 2) Because Gamespot is a mainly US-centric mainstream-oriented site with a mostly console audience that often doesn't know or like any non-Anglo-American non-AAA game. That's how "real" PC gamers vote: http://www.incgamers.com/2014/12/incgamers-reader-awards-2014-the-results-and-winners

It was a rhetorical question; That gamespot is full of lowbrowed console gamers is kind of obvious. Who else could love that trash combat and gameplay, even Skyrim has better gameplay and combat than DA:I.
It will still be funny if DA:I wins though. A terrible console port with a completely consolized UI is Gamespot reader's choice PC GOTY. xD

Far from it methinks. And I'm a PC gamer. There is a thread called PC Community Concerns on Bioware's forums with 750k views. Why? Because the game PC version is terrible console port and they lied to the gamers. The game doesn't have any tacitcal combat and they didn't return to their RPG roots. It is also beyond me how anybody can consider "hold right trigger to win" resp. "button mashing in a arbitrary fashion" not to be trash combat. EA completely butchered Dragon Age. It is sad to see how far Bioware has fallen.

Far from it methinks. And I'm a PC gamer. It's not trash imo. It's just a very mediocre game, a typcial lowest common denominator game made for the mainstream console audience that loves simplicity and faster than fast rewards. It's a game that is usually hard to hate but also hard to love. That's why it sells so well. A lot of people like it "somehow" or parts of it although it doesn't have a single real strength that'd make it really unique. It just copied elements of other games and clued them together without any own ideas or innovation. The result is an inconsitent mess. It's one of those games in which the sum isn't greater than its parts. It's actually the other way round. It has some good parts that doesn't work together well and it has some bad parts that just stay that bad. Real pity. Even DA2 was a better game because it was a lot more consistent and managed to combine its parts (although they mostly weren't all that good after all...) to a better overall experience. And probably the biggest problem with DAI is that it has no identity and no consistent game design philosophy. It's basically a simple button-mashing console MMO (just look at how the regions aka zones or the combat are designed...) marketed as a story-driven (PC hardcore) SP RPG. It's like Bioware didn't have the balls to decide which game they really wanted to make. It wants to be half action-MMORPG and half cRPG, but it does neither serve really well in the end. That's why it is mediocre by design... Short: "A game made for everyone is a game made for no one." And if you have to read posts like "I love Dragon Age Inquisition and I'm not even an RPG fan/gamer." you finally know that there is something very wrong with the game...

Well said LC. But I prefer to just call Dragon Age: Inquisition a huge stinky turd. xD I seriously can't stand that game, EA did a real good job in butchering the franchise. BTW LC, I missed you on the Thimbleweed Park Kickstarter. I might be mistaken, but I thought you liked adventure games too.

EA completely butchered Dragon Age. It is sad to see how far Bioware has fallen. Sadly, it's because Bioware doesn't truly exist anymore, except in name only.
