Last time I played was about a month ago. I have a two handed paladin kind of build going right now. When I logged in today, suddenly my weapons are unequipped, and require a strength 8 to wield. So, either my strength went down while I was logged off, or my weapons went up in their strength requirements. Does anyone know what's going on?

It's not listed specifically in the changelog but the new update did address some related issues.

That's what I'm guessing. Thanks!

Were you only able to equip the weapon due to a strength bonus on the weapon, or a bonus from food that wore off or other equipment that was changed?

If you email supportdos@larian.com, with zipped save, I can check it in 1.0.219 (GOG version) and see if there was actually a change in the patch.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder. For Windows you can also just use the D:OS support tool to generate a report.zip file and then delete all the saves from the zip except the last one before the update.

I am having a similar problem following the most recent patch. A few of my characters either seem to be missing some of their stats, or some of the weapons they were using have had their stats changed. On the 29 the characters had their weapons equipped, and on the 31 they were unable to equip those same weapons. I went back through the rest of my saves and all of them seem to have been affected in this way. I'd love to keep playing the game (I'm 40 hrs in), please help!

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem (or link to this topic) and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, you can delete all but your latest pre-update save from the zip.

I'm using the Mac version, is there another file I can send?

For Mac, I don't know if Yosemite moved anything around, but to get system specs in Mavericks you can use 'system report' from the 'about this mac' apple menu item or the 'system information' app (utilities folder); in earlier versions use 'System Profiler'.
Saves can be zipped by right clicking on the folder(s) and selecting Compress, and are the folder:
~/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin/PlayerProfiles/<ProfileName>/Savegames

I confirmed in one of HenryDuck's saves that it was an increase in requirements that caused a couple of the weapons to be unequipped after the recent update. The character attributes were unaffected (other than the loss of equipment bonuses) and the other equipment stats remained the same.

Thank you for the confirmation, Raze.
