Hi folks.
Just got the game in a steam sale but unfortunately none of the menus have any text when running @ 4k resolution. I've tried every combination of detail settings, v-sync and windowed modes.

All other resolutions work without issue but there is a significant picture quality drop on this monitor with sub 4k resolutions.

Also seen the issue reported here but options posted have not worked:

Unfortunately, a game update is unlikely, at this point.

Not that I know of.

Did you try half your native resolution, and then see if there are any options in your monitor or video drivers to disable anything it may do to 'fix' the image, aside from doubling the pixel size? What about a slightly smaller resolution and disabling scaling?

The only option I have really is to lower the resolution. I'm playing on the next resolution down. It works fine but theres a noticable drop in clarity from 4k.

It's a really weird issue, as everything runs & looks great at 4k, except there is no text in the game at all, no menu or in-game text of any sort. It appears the game just wasn't set up with 4k in mind. It would seem a simple patch for the developers if they could find the time. Is there a preferred way to get in touch with Larian support about this?

The support email for Dragon Commander is supportdc@larian.com, which would be forwarded to me.

There were several updates to the game engine to improve 4k support in D:OS. Adding those to DC would mean getting the new version of the engine working with the other components used in DC, or reverting to the previous version of the engine and redoing those changes. I don't know how long that would take, but even if it was relatively quick, it would still mean one or more programmers taking a break from D:OS to do, and the update would need a round of QA to make sure everything was working.
