...from EVERYTHING.

Completely bizarre, I know, but I've tested it a few times and the same thing happens: the wi-fi network becomes inaccessible for all devices in the house as long as Divine Divinity is running.

It will drop connection, and constantly disappears and reappears when trying to connect to it. Attempting to reconnect on iOS results in repeatedly asking for the password, and Windows just gives up after a few seconds.

As soon as I close the game, I can reconnect with no problems. Tried restarting the router while the game was on and that did not fix it either.

I did try searching for this problem but it seems like I'm the only one having it?

Game was purchased on Steam.
Running Win 7 32-bit
Router is a Billion 7800NL, in case that helps.
Dxdiag is here

The game itself runs perfectly so far.

It's not really a huge problem (presumably if I disconnect first it'll be okay), but it is really weird and I'd like to know if anyone can figure it out.

I've never seen this reported before.

Have you checked your firewall / anti-virus settings, if applicable?

Try verifying local files: in the Steam library, right click on the game and select Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and then click on the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache...' button.

Try exiting the Steam client, and everything else non-essential, then start the game directly from the '..\SteamApps\common\divine_divinity\div.exe' executable. Maybe try starting it as administrator, or right click, select Properties and in the Compatibility tab set it to run in Win 98 mode, or something.

I did 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache' first, and it redownloaded 6 files.

That seems to have fixed it, so I guess it got stuck trying to access them? (Although why that would bring down my whole network I have no idea, what even)

Thank you for the assistance!
