Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Why can't we build the entire party

Love the game but unsure why we can only build 2 characters of the max 4. What is the benefit of this approach, versus letting me tailor all 4 ?

Is it viable to create the initial two, play until can hire at hall of heroes and then use character editor to tailor the remaining two ?
