"Diablo 3 was, and still is, a terrible game that isn't 1/10th as good as Diablo 1 and 2 are. A high percentage of why it is so terrible is because of how obviously it was designed to be ported to consoles in the first place, the other reasons being crap art style, terrible story, terrible loot, always online DRM even when playing single player so that just like Starcraft 2 Blizzard can show that they believe their customers are criminals, and exceedingly simplified mechanics.

The console kids can fucking have it, I wish it was never on PC in the first place."

and I agree, Diablo 3 and most especially Blizzard suck, they didnt always, but now they are vile scum of the earth who do think that their customers are stupid crooks. I used to be a huge fan, Battlenet and their crappy DRM ( listen please Larian about DRM I already hated not owning a copy of D:OS when I bought a box set and I had to download it, thats too close to Blizzard already). I will never buy another Blizzard product again, and will gladly bash anything and everything that is Blizzard. How Blizzard treats their customers and their atrocious DRM makes me support piracy, something I am very much against, I will pay double the price for a copy of the game to own it forever on a disk, DRM means you dont own it, they are cheating you. I still have my first copies of Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 and the expanision packs and IWD's and Fallouts 1 and 2 and tactics, because I own them, no DRM, no hassle, just fun gaming without corporate greed inspired DRM B***S***. If you make a good game everyone will buy it, if you make a lousy one more people will pirate it, you will never stop the dishonest but you can encourage and reward the honest. BTW anyone who wants a Diablo-esque game that isnt made by those craptastic bottom-feeding single-celled bastards at Blizzard- I recomend Torchlight 2, I bought it and D:OS at the same time and threw away all my Blizzard games at the same time. OK enough about Blizzard DRM and bad game companies that mistreat their longtime paying customers....

I dont care if a console version is made, but I do think that console gamers are not the same breed that is the core audience for this style of game. The OP in this case has a pretty good reason he wants to play with his wife, he probably would play it on the PC alone but then he gets to sleep on the couch.

I also would want to be absolutely crystal clear that the core audience would think anything done from here on out on D:OS or its relatives is for PC gamers first and foremost and isnt dumbed-down, shallowed-out and eviscerated to allow porting to another platform, a platform that is less interactive and less capable, and shallower as far as a gaming platform goes, because that isnt where your core audience plays or spends its money and likely wont be, I wont even own a console, button mashing FPS drivel is not why I buy a computer or a game to play on it. So basicly our gaming experience should not suffer so console players can play a watered down version. Us first then Console if it must be, secondly, afterwards and seperately, I suppose.
