Oh yeah Joram true fire is best against undead but I kind of forgot because they are so easy to kill anyway.
Dragon-Wizard sorry I misinterpreted, also I didnt think you had gotten all that far in the game, sounds like you dont need any help at all.
I like spells as well, in this game they look very cool, FIreball and Lightning bolt seem to be my favorites.
Actually Meterostrike doesnt seem to be all that effective nor does Hailstorm or Lightning Storm, and Earthquake hurts you and the party if they are around the mage casting it so.... I'm level 15, and done quote a good bit; beat the sourcer king, beat the Frost elemental king. Done the immaculate trials and infiltrated the town; so on. Haven't beat the spider queen, I avoided the route that takes me to her, and mostly used invisibility to get past the spider worshipers and into the imp village. I've actually done some stiff out of order to the point I had to go back and find missed sidequest so I could continue main ones. Its part of the reason I'm hesitant to start over until I finish the game at least once. I really don't need much help, majority of the things I would need help with if if I started over, would fall down to remembering how I did it the first time, or finding another way. I'll definitely start with pet pal this time though. I don't know if you talked with the chicken in the immaculate Trials, but she was funny, and o didn't have the heart to kill her.

NO I didnt wanna kill that chicken or the one in Cyseal barracks kitchen, LOL. Yes animals are amusing.
Spider Queen is dead meat for any fighter that can soak the damage and whirlwind or dust devil to kill her eggs and hurt her every turn, she is big but not all that tough but she can do a lot of damage in melee, actually I thought she would be much worse. Have your mage hit her with Ice or electricity, Also make sure ya throw rain on her, keep the poison from becoming fire! That toon gives me the creeps, I friggin hate spiders! I killed her with a 12th level party my first playthrough using those tactics, my party was seriously hurting afterwards though, she should be worth more XP. Oh and split the party up and flank her approach from Frederick's direction the south, and from the cave direction the west, if you approach from the south you seem to be able to get closer to her before she becomes active and combat starts.
Oh Yeah Pet pal is a skill that both source hunters should just have since you need it for certian quests, I think its kind of a gip, that you have to lose another talent to take something your gonna need. But Okay...I always give it to my mage she is the brains of the outfit, and the Knight, well lets just say he is the brawn, but together they are like Peanut butter and chocalate.
Heck at level 15 your about 3/4 of the way to the max level you can pretty much get to. But They have adjusted so much on the last content patch lots of things may be slightly different than the first time through. I can see your reticence about starting over, I may have finished it once too then played again. Either way your gonna have fun, but I also hate not finishing something.

The problem for me was never the spider queen, just the environment if I remember correctly. It stunted my AP, don't quote me because I'm trying to remember what it was about the sandstorm that made me avoid every single fight in that area. Aftery first encounter, I used jahon invisibility to just move around undetected and teleported the rest of the team to him afterwards. Invisibility spell is kinda of game breaking to me in that regards, but those kind of abilities are hard to balance in a good RPG. They usually end up game breaking or almost useless.
Yea, but first I need to finish shadowrun dragonfall, which I'm close to the end with right now. I still have too many unfinished games. Bgee, then need to import my character into bg2ee, dragonfall, divinity is, divinity ego draconis, magika, evil genius, and a few others I can't think of off the top of my head right now.
Trying to balance gaming with artwork is never fun.
