Hm, I haven't been in a fire forest! Unless you mean that one field with the elementals just before going into one of the two mirror dungeons... but you probably don't mean that haha.
So you get a skill book every level, wow! I wish I wouldn't have levelled to 8 already then I could have 1 more! I can get 10k, although unfortunately I've been buying Spell Books in advance and then finding them anyway -_- waste of money there. I'll have to sell some more beer and put some Branches together and spread some staves around Cyseal or something like that. I think I'll be ok if it's just 1 skill book per level anyway, I can make 10k a level probably =) I put 2 points into Barter on my Ranger because this is my first playthrough, so with gear that's 4. On Normal difficulty it's ok to spend a few skillpoints in a less optimal way IMO. I'd be more careful on Hard maybe.
Sorry for asking so many questions guys, this thread was supposed to be about combat and stuff, I got carried away haha. Such a great game. I especially loved when /i looted a haystack and found... a needle. Little things like that are just fantastic.
