No they restock each level, but you can only buy 1 of each at a time. That post is wrong or out of date. It is not overpowered, and buying them is optional...you dont want to, then dont, it isnt mandatory. I like being able to improve my characters often since i only have 3 anyway and I want to play a hero -not some lame desperate loser suck-ass character who cant do anything and is so weak, slow, clumsy, wimpy, stupid and unskilled that they never would have become an adventurer they would have been the local moron-halfwit who runs the manure cart for the local village and on sundays doubles as the village idiot. LOL.
I always have the Hall of secrets unlocked before I leave the Cyseal map there are 5 stones on that map. There is a rush guide but it seems to be stealth oriented, I am not a stealth player just not in my blood I guess. Sneakybadger did the rush though and it works. Cyseal map has just enough experience to be 10th level and have 5 bloodstones when you leave to go to Luculla Forest. Dont rush man take your time enjoy the scenary, meet the locals and kill some of them. Does not matter what order you get the stones in or where becasue the fifth stone always opens the hall of secrets BUT YOU NEED ALL THE STONES for the game so get em all and keep em all.

According to the rush guide (not because I want to follow it) http://divinity.wikia.com/wiki/Divinity:_Original_Sin_-_Teller_of_Secrets you don't get the 4th and 5th until some place called "Silverglen Villag" (never been there).
