I know! I hate it! Its effect is so negligible, yet I find it to be really annoying to my melee! I stay away from poison all the time. In fact, I really wish the Boulder Bash didnt have poison (but it's such a great spell arrrrrgh).

That's cool man. I actually like Madora (my "Knight" I guess?) a lot more than I thought I would. I don't mean her character (annoying) but the playstyle of the tank. It's fun. I've been sinking tons of Speed into her now so I can use more moves.

I fell in love with Battering Ram right from the start haha! It's fantastic. Also I really love that in Divine Light I can essentially AoE unfreeze my whole party if things should go wrong, or break someone's freeze if it means I can kill them this turn. There's really a lot of flexibility in that character now.

That damage is crazy man, nice. I'm not pro enough to stack my damage yet but maybe in subsequent playthroughs. Although, to be honest, you must get bored? Super easy?? I mean I'm already kind of cruising through most encounters as it is and I'm not even min/maxed or anything. I mean I've made careful, strategic decisions, but not to the extent that you are.

Awesome thanks! I made my main a Ranger so no. I haven't been using the two new Companions. My plan is still to go on a pickpocket spree with at least one of them, but currently I made a very very large amount of money by un-hoarding so I'm good for a while! Have 39k after buying books!

The good thing is the next time i do the rounds I can buy up all those Sextants I always see and skimp on.

I think the NPC's Madora, Jahan and Bairdotr are annnoying, Wolgraff much less so.

No and yes, it isnt easy all the time, Spiders I really hate they seem like they cheat and bosses can be problematic, also I have only 3 in the party, sometimes I feel pretty outnumbered and if even one is stunned or frozen or downed thats 33% of all capability out.

Yeah Boulder bash should do more crushing damage and no poison damage at all, I like it because it is one of the few bashing spells, most enema's have little resistance to it, but yeah that poison is a real downside or I would usee it more.

Tank ( Knight) and Mage (air and water colleges most versatile, even though fireball is my favorite overall spell) my faves in this game, but you really need a Ranger/Archer because Tanks have very little ranged capability I kind of offset that by giving him all the attack scrolls, heck I sell all the other scrolls anyway.

Wow last night, I for the first time got my mage to level 5 in all 5 of the spell colleges at level 21 and we are in the phantom forrest, it is the first time I wanted more slots on the quick-skill-item bar ( 15 per row is what I wish it was now). I pretty much believe that level 4 in any spell college is plenty since each college has about 9 spells I actually like and would want to use through the whole game, but heck if I can have unlimited numbers of them I wish I could at least put all of em or more of them in quick-bar.

Strangely my Knight is also rather short of available space in the quick-bar, 19 MaA skills plus magus-bolt, Remove Deathknight invulnerability, Fortify, Blitzbolt, and Flare from belt and 2 rings, and then potions and scrolls and he is also at capacity.

Wolgraff still has a whole row to fill but probably wont need it.

I didnt think that was ever gonna happen, but I have been doing, keeping, using a lot of things-skills-items I had ignored in previous playthroughs...some are cool and fun, some are a waste of time or just not the best way to do something.

I can live with 50 spaces in the quick bar, but I never thought I would want more.
