Interesting point. You would have to show that there is a market/profit that outweights the costs. Maybe by signing a petition :P I always have the same problem with japanese games that seldomly/only after long time get translated. And then I have to rely on inofficial translation projects as well.

I agree that I almost do not care anymore about a German translation because, well, I am fluent in English and most Europeans are meanwhile (at least the gamers). However, I can't speak japanese or chinese and I can imagine that it is much harder for chinese to learn english because it is not so similar to their language.
