Did you try rebooting, or shutting down your computer and restarting? That helped a couple people with this problem.
One person troubleshooting this said the initial rebooting and renaming of profiles didn't help, but when they moved a quicksave from a renamed profile into a new profile, the saves showed up in the old profile. Another that dual booted said this happened periodically, but if they booted into Windows, loaded a save and re-saved, when they booted back into OSX the saves would be shown.
The
Save Game Editor can be run under Wine, if you don't dual boot or have access to a Windows system, and can be used to extract the individual files from the save game archive, which should get it to show up in the load window.
This issue is currently being looked into, so there is no ETA on a fix.
