Yeah ... I understand that the "immersion thing" is kind of gauche for people with a broader gaming experience. Though I'm 42-years-old, I'm new to gaming, and ALL the games I've played until now have all been first/third person rpgs. (Specifically: Deus Ex HR, Skyrim, Witcher series, Mass Effect series, Dragon Age series and some Telltale games. And I only rarely used the isometric stuff in the DA games.)
So I'm just feeling kind of disoriented right now; it's like learning a new language. What I miss most is arriving in a new location and seeing it as though I were one of my characters.
Anyhoo: I'll give it some more time and see if I can get used to it.
(OTOH, and ceteribus paribus: Seems like a win-win scenario when you can play a game either way.)
(P.S. Though it guess it never is paribus, if the devs have to invest time on their models that could have been spent on content ... )
