Greetings
I am early in the game, level 4
I have treasure map 1 and treasure map III

However, I am surprised/disappointed the treasure map only gives me a vague clue
not an actually map

My perception is not so high, so even with the map (a real map) I hope I can find the right spot to dig

Any tips/help to use the Treasure maps (which only give a clue)

Do you mean the treasure maps you can buy at the marketplace from Jerome ?
If that's the case : reading a treasure maps you buy from him let appear an icon on your world map showing a location of a "secret treasure" wink

If you mean the parchment about a treasure you've found in a chest nearby the Cook's house :
sorry, I don't know yet .

Yes I mean maps from Jerome

And I can not seem to find location on my world map
Does not show secret treasure on world map, at least not that I can see

My perception is not very good
I think best is 6.............
so maybe that is why??

There is currently a bug with the secrets marker than can remove them after you save and reload or switch maps. Until this is fixed in the next update, you can place a manual map flag on top of the secret marker when you first read the treasure map.

You still need perception to find the exact spot, though, or trial and error digging up the general area (or a walkthrough). There are potions and spells you can use for temporary buffs, as well as possibly equipment bonuses.

You are doing well. Game about 12 lvl start to be wonky. 15+ is underdeveloped. It was probably good bussines solution, cose only 5% customers finished the game.

Maybe they don't finish because the last half is wonky. I hope this isn't really true because I've started many games to level 11 or 12 and always want to restart at that point. I always feel as if there is something wrong I'm doing but maybe it's not me but the game design? My latest game is on level 10 right now and you're making me depressed. smile

Heahhh... wait a minute !
No no no no no ... I don't restart because of wonky-tonky-bonky-underdevelopement of this game !

No, I ONLY was searching for MY favorite build and that searching was a very slow process because :
1) of lack of time
2) I'm a slow player
3) D:OS is my first rpg with Turn Based Combat, so that was totally NEW for me !
4) And so, because of TB combat, it takes a loooong learning curve .... with many "try & errors" :hihi:

I really wish to play D:OS till the final end, really ... !
But I take my time for D:OS because I don't have any other game on my wishlist than playing D:OS, so I've alllll the time ! laugh

I'm doing well, but in another way you mentioned wink
