Well... I just applied the latest patch today and reached the council of seven (as above).. and I'm having the same problem. After Janus does his stuff I get dumped into an area just north of the council, recieve x damage and that's that. Stuck. I've tried moving all the *.bik files onto my hard drive. got the bink dll and it plays the movies just fine, but the game seems to be having a bit of a problem here
