In the conflict between the elves and dwarves you can help both sides. However, in the magic garden you have to choose which side you want to be on. You can either help the bees defend their home and kill the wasps, or help the wasps invade and kill the bees. Raze, there is a speech option during the showdown, before Lysandra comes where Ragon accuses the char of not having helped the wasps as promised - even if you have sided up with the bees and informed Ragon before going into the mass bee/wasp fight.
