Did you try loading an earlier save and going through the conversation again, with different options, or skipping through quickly?
Do you have the latest patch installed? For DKS
the latest game version is 1.4.9.70, as shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu. If applicable, there is also a
DKS DRM free patch.
Please email your latest save (before talking to Williams, if possible) to supportdks@larian.com.
In XP the saves are in the folder
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames
or in Vista, Win 7/8
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames
You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (
XP, Vista,
Win 7,
Win 8).
