Watched the preview of the enhanced edition. one of the devs said that rogue is the only class that can do bleeding now and many traits/skills were revamped. Does this mean that there will no longer be leech/bleed builds? I thought taking on the risk of hurting yourself to heal as well as positioning blood pools was a unique take on healing in this RPG. Zombie also has a unique way to sustain in a fight. I always liked it much better that the classic potion popping or heal spell. With less access to bleeding it looks like blood knight may not be a thing anymore.

You'll still be able to use leech, just not cast bleeding on a leech party member for pretty much instant full healing.

Without a way to set up bleeds I don't see how leech is going to be useful anymore. It already had the trade off of discouraging body building and the use of walk it off. Hopefully the revamp skills/traits allow some way to still do things that hurt your party members for other benefits.

Honestly, the fact that your own blood could be pouring out of yourself and you would heal from that was pretty stupid. Casting Bloodletting on a Leech party member had a very low risk-reward ratio.

Still though, there is a valid worry about Leech not being useful against blood from enemies.

I thought it was a pretty neat idea. It kind of had a ritualist vibe to it where you make sacrifices for a greater benefit. I found it a lot more involved than just using water healing or potion spam. At least you took damage and couldn't invest in body building or you resist bleed to much. If there's still some way to role play my characters with this theme in mind I'll be happy either way. Leech was a big part of that though.
