Hey all, I know this has been covered a million times, which is a large part of my confusion.

Can someone please for once and for all explain how points in tenebrium skill / weapon skill works?

Also, how the upgrading / enchanting of tenebrium weapons works?

Any other things that people should know about tenebrium, related quests, etc...

As comprehensive an answer as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Level 1 of Tenebrium allows you to handle tenebrium without getting Rot. Level 3 allows you to drag a Tenebrium bar onto a weapon to add tenebrium damage (someone reported that if you drag the weapon onto the bar you only need level 1). There is no benefit to boosting Tenebrium above level 3.

As for quests, talk to Brandon in Silverglen and listen to his plan; if you tell him you don't want to talk about it, he will not bring it up again. There is an alternate way to learn the Tenebrium ability,

So just to be clear, the tenebrium skill no longer has any impact on weapon damage, be it a natural T weapon, or a T enchanted weapon. Right?

Correct.

Get enough craft skill and Tenebrium +1. Drag bar on --- > the weapon, you receive "Not enough tenebrium" error message. Then Immediately drag the weapon on --- > the bar. And voila it works this way. :-]

Another good trick is Learn the skill by the book as the Raze told. AFTER THAT learn the skill by the quest in the mine vilage. If you do it this way you get Tenebrium skill lvl 2 for all your party members for free.

Maby the tenebrium infusion trick wroks with T=2 only. I has just two.

Anyway, Tenebrium weapons doesnt worth the real skill points.
