Has Larian said anything about making changes to how mods might work for the sequel? I started to mod my game now that I am replaying it and was annoyed to find out that you can't use more than one mod and can't mod current saves (IE have to start a new game) without using third party tools merge mods.

Call me lazy but that sounds like a lot of work for a game that has mod support. Really hoping the fix this for the sequel and make it work more like Fallout 3/NV/Skyrim in the sense that its much simpler and takes effect regardless of whether or not you start a new game.

I have not seen them discuss any toolset changes for either the EE or DOS II. I'm not anticipating any player facing changes at this point.

They confirmed that there were going to be updates to the editor somewhere.
