Note I've never 'believed' in them myself, I just know what others believed, which just makes me not want to associate with them. I do believe it's a very poor choice to add it to the kickstarter bonuses. Dice would have been cool.
I'm not sure it's entirely fair to slate one parlour game and not another just because of how they've been subsequently appropriated: though I guess I view the connection to Satanism as an element of pop culture rather than something fundamentally more sinister.
I am aware that some people can be psychologically affected by such things, but on the other hand, the same is true of virtually anything, including video games. Perhaps especially one with a name like Original Sin (not that I believe that would be a factor, just using that as a bit of an "elephant in the room" counterpoint to the concern in question).
For me personally, I don't really care. Some people might think I should since I'm a Christian, but I still don't care. Then again, I'm also a lesbian so I'm probably guaranteed to annoy pretty much everyone. Good.
