Again I would prefer the snapshot image of the character you created, BUT if that is just too difficult could we at least have an easy way to add custom portraits to the game? DOS was anything but easy to mod that way. Other games like PoE and WL2 make it easy.

I totally prefer portraits.

DA:O is actually a good example why. Freakingly ugly character models hogging the box. It WILL be even worse in D:OS2 since characters are (logically) lower detailed than in D:OS since they are made for isometric view rather than 3rd person.

If one can choose beautiful handcrafted portraits or butt-ugly 3D face I know what I would choose. Or you may think this looks great;

Ah ! I don't know if I still have my char portrait from DA:O , but I took a special care into making him as fugly as hell as possible. Same for my second Shepard.
ESPECIALLY my second Shepard.

I just love it when they just don't look the role.

I prefer portraits but there MUST be an import/export function. I want to be able to change existing portraits and include my own ones if I don't like the existing ones.
