At the very least, one of the writers on the D:OS 2 kickstarter mentioned there's a shiny new dialog editor, so that's nice, considering what an inconvenient eyesore the current one is. Not sure if that'll show up in the Enhanced Edition editor or not, though. And hopefully they'll make the cheat commands (to rez your characters and kill enemies and all that) actually work. And model imports to actually function (or maybe just a tutorial, since people can't seem to really figure it out). And the reload stats function to actually work.

Not expecting scripting to change much, unfortunately. It definitely can be a tough nut to crack. Level design, too, takes a LOT of patience, especially with no undo function for texturing or terrain design >.<

Lots of little things make it hard to use. Hopefully the biggest offenders will be dealt with, at least.


If they upgrade the quest and dialogue editors, that will be amazing and will make me have less work to do lol.

But I'm planning on modifying the kit when they release the EE edition of it so that there will be several wizards available for people to use to create content a lot quicker and easier than before (like how the NWN kit was).
