Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Missing Mercenaries in the DarkForest and Imbue!

Hi,

I've given the Ancient Vase to the guy in the camp not far from where you enter the Dark Forest from Rivellon, but I don't know how to solve the missing mercenaries part of the quest. There are some dead guys around the vase in the tomb under the fountain but I guess they aren't the mercs or are?

How do you imbue the Silver Armour?

Was there a quest to find the missing mercenaries? I don't recall doing anything but bringing back the vase, and grabbing another item of value from that location for myself.

Well, that's good - i thought i missed something.
But...when you go and talk to the collector after,he says that he is going to wait a while longer for them to come back, but they never leave the forest (the collector)...so maybe there is one???? Maybe you have to find the mercenaries and tell them you have done it? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

There were 3 mercenaries after the vase and 3 bodies near it, so I kind of assumed that I found them and would be able to tell the collectors, but didn't get such a speech option. They probably stick around so you will have a merchant handy while you explore the northern part of the forest.

I thought that those three mercenaries were the betrayers. The ones that told you trolls kidnapped their wifes. I think that's just me...
