Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General the halo effect (on Kickstarter)

I want to say that the halo effect worked for me.
I supported D:OS2 because someone posted in the forums of Pillars of Eternity, that kickstarter for D:OS2 has started.

I would have supported D:OS1, PoE and torment if had had known that the kickstarter campaign was there at that time. But I have heard about PoE and torment only after the campain was over and I knew D:OS1 only when it was released on gog. And even then it took some time before I bought it because I never heard of Larian before. After I found out that D:OS1 is such a great game I bought DD, but I never started it. People say it is a huge game and it will take a very long time to finish and there a tons of good games coming all the time. I am a slow player and I have to do other things than playing computer games as well.

Note that this post implies that PoE is a big game and it has a halo effect on the small game D:OS2. Please prove that I am wrong and spend more than 4mio$ for D:OS2!
